Important Update on the Scripture Restoration Project

Shalom Chaverim,

It has become apparent that if this project is to move at anything like a reasonable pace, it is going to have to become the main focus of my work. The work was abruptly interrupted by the “Texas Snowpoaclypse” and one thing after another has gotten in the way since then to focusing on this work. Some things cannot be helped, such as my wife’s ongoing medical problems, she had four medical appointments last week, and will have more in coming days. We learned this month that she has a dilated kidney, and they are doing testing to determine how serious it is. As many of you know, my wife is disabled and chronically ill, and I am doing my work at a desk a few feet from her bed, acting also as her caretaker.

In order for this project to move at a reasonable pace, I need to complete about two chapters of Matthew each month, over the next year. This will allow me to complete 100% of Matthew in just over a year, while simultaneously completing 94% of Mark and 64% of Luke as I restore their synoptic parallels to Matthew at the same time. This will be about 2/3 of the Four Gospels, and make completion of the entire “New Testament” about a four to five year project. My goal in year two will be to complete the Four Gospels and restore the lost Gospel according to the Hebrews (much of which will be completed in year one).

In order to do this, I need your help.

As I said, some of life’s distractions are unavoidable. But others are not. One of my biggest distractions, is keeping the bills paid. In order to focus on this project effectively, I need that distraction minimized or eliminated. This is where you can help most. I need to be able to focus on this project and not spending my time trying to figure out how I am going to pay the rent, or electric, or my wife’s co-pays for her medical appointments and her expensive medications.

In the last six weeks, I have spent far too much time trying to raise funds because donations have been very, very low.

Right now I have $6.68 in my account, and bills are going to be pending in the bank tomorrow.

This work takes hours of my time. As many of you know, my wife is very ill, and I spend most of my time at home as her caretaker. I work at a desk less than six feet from her bed. So I am in a position to dedicate many hours to this important work that I have been directed to do.

But I also realize that it is not the activity of James Trimm alone who is responsible to do this work, it is all of us together who are charged with the responsibility of accomplishing this work. I very much look on the efforts of this restoration work as a cooperative one with each one of you. We are all joint heirs with Messiah and should always be about our Father’s business. I am honored to be able to be partnered with truth seekers as this restoration of Scripture moves forward in fulfillment of prophecy.
